Transitioning from both the direct and indirect use of fossil fuels to the renewable and sustainable resources of the near future demands a focal shift in catalysis research - from investigating catalytic reactions in isolation to developing coupled reactions for modern chemical value chains. In this Perspective, we discuss the status and emerging prospects of coupled catalytic reactions across various scales and provide key examples. ...

  3. Replication data for: Association genetics and genomic prediction for resistance to the pea root rot complex in a diverse collection of Pisum sativum L.

Ariza-Suarez, Daniel; Hohmann, Pierre; Wille, Lukas; et al. (2024)
This repository contains genotypic and phenotypic data from a collection of 254 genotypes of pea (Pisum sativum L.). These data was used to identify genomic regions in the pea genome associated with root rot resistance.

    ACS Nano
Lead halide perovskite quantum dots (QDs), the latest generation of the colloidal QD family, exhibit outstanding optical properties, which are now exploited as both classical and quantum light sources. Most of their rather exceptional properties are related to the peculiar exciton fine-structure of band-edge states, which can support unique bright triplet excitons. The degeneracy of the bright triplet excitons is lifted with energetic ...

  5. Micron-to-nanoscale investigation of Cu-Fe-Ni sulfide inclusions within laurite (Ru, Os)S2 from chromitites

This paper provides a top-down nanoscale analysis of Cu-Ni-Fe sulfide inclusions in laurite from the Taitao ophiolite (Chile) and the Kevitsa mafic-ultramafic igneous intrusion (Finland). High-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) reveal that Cu-Ni-Fe sulfide inclusions are euhedral to (sub)-anhedral (i.e., droplet-like) and form single, biphasic or polyphasic grains, made up of different polymorphs, polytypes and polysomes ...
